Role Description The Bartender role at Van Rasa by Isles & Vales is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Bartender will prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, follow standard recipes, and ensure all drinks are presented consistently. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming guests, taking orders, making recommendations, and providing friendly, efficient service at the bar. The role also involves handling cash and payment transactions accurately, maintaining bar inventory and stock levels, and keeping the bar area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards. The Bartender will work closely with the service and kitchen teams to support smooth operations and deliver a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
- Experience or knowledge in Bartending and Food & Beverage operations, including preparing drinks, understanding menus, and maintaining product quality.
- Competence in Cash Handling, point-of-sale systems, and accurate processing of payments and billing.
- Prior experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol and basic local regulations related to beverage service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant training or certification in bartending or hospitality is an advantage.
