Role Description The MEP Project Manager will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and execution for building projects, ensuring coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project schedules and budgets, reviewing and approving MEP submittals and drawings, monitoring site progress, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with consultants, contractors, and clients. The role involves conducting regular site visits, supervising installation quality, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and preparing project status reports. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, requiring close interaction with project stakeholders and timely decision-making to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge, including coordination of building services and systems.
- Practical experience in plumbing systems design, installation oversight, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in project management and budgeting, with the ability to plan, monitor, and control project timelines and costs.
- Experience handling MEP submittals, drawings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in project management are an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in common engineering and project management software tools; experience with BIM or CAD platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, manage multiple projects, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
