Company Description Istaka is a multidisciplinary design firm based in Bangalore, India, drawing inspiration from ethnic, vernacular, and contemporary architecture. Role Description The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, coordinating design, procurement, logistics, and site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Istaka’s design ethos. Responsibilities include planning project timelines, tracking milestones, managing budgets, and liaising with internal teams, vendors, and clients for smooth implementation. The role involves monitoring quality standards, conducting inspections, and resolving operational issues related to materials, deliveries, and onsite progress. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bangalore, with a mix of on-site presence and some work-from-home flexibility to support project coordination and communication.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to follow up on orders, track deliverables, and ensure timely availability of materials and services.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipments, manage inventory flows, and optimize supply chain activities.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office, with strong documentation and reporting abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in collaborative, multicultural teams.
- Prior experience in design, construction, or architectural project environments is mandatory
- Working with project management apps like Zoho/Idesign are also required.
