Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Representative role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The Medical Representative will visit government hospitals and institutions to promote the company’s pharmaceutical and surgical product range, in line with tender and rate contract terms. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting healthcare professionals and procurement staff, providing accurate product information, demonstrating product benefits, and addressing inquiries. The role involves maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, monitoring tender opportunities, following up on orders, and ensuring timely feedback from clients. The Medical Representative will also track market developments, prepare basic reports on visits and sales activities, and collaborate with internal teams to support smooth distribution operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Medical Sales, with the ability to promote products ethically and effectively within healthcare institutions.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and maintain long-term relationships with hospital and institutional stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of Medicine and Pharmacy sufficient to understand product profiles and explain indications, usage, and safety information clearly.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Hyderabad Area, manage field visits independently, and maintain organized records of interactions and activities.
- Preferred qualifications include a diploma or degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field, prior experience in institutional or government medical sales, and familiarity with tender and rate contract processes.
- Additional beneficial attributes include basic proficiency in MS Office, strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, patient-centric practices.
