Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Representative role based in Mumbai. The Medical Representative will promote Cadila’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff, through regular visits, presentations, and product discussions. Daily activities include building and maintaining strong professional relationships, providing accurate product and therapy information, and ensuring timely follow-up on inquiries. The role involves planning and executing territory coverage, monitoring competitor activity, achieving sales targets, and maintaining detailed records of visits, feedback, and prescriptions. The Medical Representative will also collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives, participate in medical education programs, and ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory, and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Medical Sales, including territory management, relationship building, and achieving sales and prescription targets.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage healthcare professionals, conduct effective product discussions, and respond to queries with professionalism.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Pharmacy to understand therapeutic areas, product indications, and safety information.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical sales is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage schedules efficiently, and use basic digital tools (CRM, email, office applications).
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and willingness to stay updated on medical and product developments.
