Job details:
- Install and commission baler machines, shredders, conveyors, and associated equipment at customer locations.
- Conduct machine trials and performance testing.
- Ensure successful handover of equipment to customers.
- Provide operator training on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults.
- Repair and replace defective components including bearings, shafts, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and valves.
- Conduct machine health inspections and prepare service reports.
- Identify root causes of machine failures and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical problems.
- Coordinate with design and production teams for technical solutions.
- Provide emergency breakdown support at customer sites.
- Respond to customer service calls and technical queries.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through timely service.
- Recommend spare parts and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved effectively.
- Prepare installation, commissioning, and service reports.
- Maintain service records and machine history.
- Submit travel, expense, and maintenance reports.
- Update service activity in ERP/CRM systems.
- Identify and recommend spare parts requirements.
- Support inventory planning for critical spares.
- Ensure proper utilization of service tools and equipment.
- Follow company and customer safety regulations.
- Conduct service activities according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure safe handling of hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, and machine components.
