URGENT HIRING – MECHANICAL QC ENGINEER
Falcon Energy For General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical QC Engineer for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Industrial projects.
POSITION DETAILS
• Position: Mechanical QC Engineer

• Employment Visa: 2 Years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and ensure the quality of welding, coating and mechanical activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and client requirements.
• Monitor welding activities and verify compliance with WPS, PQR and WPQ requirements.
• Coordinate with NDT teams for RT, UT, MT and PT activities and review NDT reports.
• Monitor surface preparation and coating application activities.
• Verify WFT, DFT and environmental conditions during coating activities.
• Prepare and maintain QC reports, inspection records, ITPs, NCRs, RFIs and quality documentation.
• Maintain material, weld and coating traceability.
• Coordinate with client inspectors and third-party agencies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, API, SSPC, NACE, ISO and ASTM standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• CSIWP Certification.
• BGAS Certification – Level 1 or Level 2.
• Expected 6–10 years of experience in QA/QC – Welding and Painting.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Offshore or Industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes including GTAW, SMAW, FCAW and GMAW.
• Strong knowledge of coating systems, surface preparation and paint standards.
• Strong knowledge of applicable ASME, API, SSPC, NACE, ISO and ASTM standards.
• Shutdown experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass client interviews and technical assessments.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness to work overtime, night shifts and shutdown schedules.
• Ability to work at heights, confined spaces and high-temperature areas.
• Physically fit for site inspections and prolonged standing.
• Familiarity with QA/QC software or digital reporting tools is an advantage.
