Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for an MBA-qualified professional working on a Night Shift Calling (Outbound) process. The role involves making outbound calls to clients and prospects, presenting company services clearly and professionally, and gathering relevant business information. The individual will follow structured calling scripts, maintain accurate call logs and records in internal systems, and adhere to workflow and performance targets. Daily activities include coordinating with internal teams on lead follow-up, reporting call outcomes and insights, and maintaining a professional and courteous communication style throughout every interaction.
Qualifications
- Educational background: MBA degree from a recognized institution with a focus on business, marketing, operations, or a related discipline.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Strong spoken and written English, clear telephone etiquette, active listening, and the ability to explain technical or business concepts simply.
- Outbound calling and customer engagement: Prior experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, customer support, or sales process roles, with comfort working in night shifts.
- Business and analytical skills: Understanding of business processes, ability to record and interpret call data, prepare basic reports, and provide insights from conversations.
- Technical and domain awareness: Basic familiarity with cloud services or technology environments is preferred, with the ability to learn about multi-cloud and engineering solutions.
- Professional attributes: Reliability in adhering to shift schedules, attention to detail in documentation, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Kolkata.
