Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Math Teacher role based at Al Burooj International School in Bengaluru. The Math Teacher will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes across relevant grade levels, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The Math Teacher will create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence, curiosity, and respect, while managing behavior in line with school policies. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families about learner progress, participating in staff meetings and school events, and contributing to ongoing curriculum improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong subject expertise in Mathematics and High school Mathematics Education with BED.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design effective learning experiences.
- Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching experience in high school or licensure.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, with BEd
- Experience teaching mathematics at school level, preferably in an international or CBSE/IGCSE-style setting.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to learner-centered teaching, continuous professional development, and collaboration with the school community.
