Role Description The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate English lessons that align with the CBSE curriculum and the school’s integrated program. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting lessons, evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress. The role involves creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, supporting students’ language development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and collaborating with colleagues and school leadership on academic initiatives. The teacher will participate in staff meetings, parent interactions, assessments, and co-curricular activities as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Prodigies International School in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven classroom experience.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education-related skills to design structured, curriculum-aligned learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage students, collaborate with staff, and interact with parents.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training is preferred.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively, use varied teaching methodologies, and integrate activities that support holistic development.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment practices, along with openness to continuous professional development.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to contribute positively to the school community.
