The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager, not a strategist who hands off execution to someone else. This is the person who actually runs UN:BLOC's digital presence day to day: performance marketing, paid social, SEO, LinkedIn ads, website analytics, lead management, retargeting, and email campaigns. You'll be the first dedicated marketing hire, working closely with leadership to make UN:BLOC visible across every relevant digital platform and to turn that visibility into a real, trackable pipeline.
This role is built for someone who's comfortable owning execution across channels rather than specializing in just one - the priority right now is broad, reliable coverage of performance marketing fundamentals, not deep expertise in a single niche.
What You'll Own
Performance marketing & paid acquisition
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn Ads
- Manage budgets and bidding to hit cost-per-lead and cost-per-acquisition targets
- Continuously test creative, audiences, and placements — kill what doesn't work fast
Social media
- Own UN:BLOC's presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Plan and execute organic content calendars alongside paid social
- Keep all content aligned with UN:BLOC's brand voice and current stage of public disclosure
SEO
- Own on-page SEO for unbloc.com — content structure, metadata, technical basics
- Build and maintain an SEO content plan aligned with the site's core topics (the block, blocMarker, blocProtocol, founder story, condition-specific pages)
- Track organic search performance and report on what's moving
LinkedIn ads & B2B visibility
- Run LinkedIn campaigns targeting relevant B2B audiences (healthcare, insurance, practitioner network contacts) alongside the D2C consumer motion
- Coordinate with the partnerships team so paid B2B messaging stays aligned with active alliance conversations
Website analytics & conversion
- Own website traffic analysis end-to-end — sources, behavior, drop-off points, conversion rates
- Work with the team to identify and fix funnel leaks (e.g., quiz completion vs. blocMarker purchase)
- Report regularly on what's working, in plain numbers leadership can act on
Lead management & retargeting
- Own the lead pipeline from first visit through to purchase or handoff
- Build and manage retargeting campaigns for visitors who don't convert on their first visit
- Keep CRM/lead data clean and usable — no valuable lead falls through a gap
Email marketing
- Plan and execute email campaigns and nurture sequences — welcome flows, product education, re-engagement
- Own subject line/content testing and deliverability basics
- Segment lists meaningfully rather than sending one blast to everyone
What We're Looking For
- 6-8 years in a hands-on marketing role with real ownership of paid performance channels (not just supporting a larger team)
- Demonstrable experience running Google, Meta, and LinkedIn ad campaigns with budget accountability
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals — you don't need to be a specialist, but you need to know what moves the needle
- Comfortable with analytics tools (GA4 or equivalent) and can read a funnel without help
- Experience with an ESP (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot) and building segmented email flows
- Strong, plain writing — healthcare marketing requires precision, not hype
- Comfortable in an early-stage environment: few processes exist yet, and you'll be building some of them yourself
Nice to have:
- Experience marketing in healthcare, wellness, or a regulated category (understands why claims need to be handled carefully)
- Familiarity with India's advertising compliance landscape for health-related claims (ASCI, DMR Act) — or a fast learner willing to work closely with legal on this
- Experience marketing both a D2C product and a B2B/partnership motion simultaneously
What This Role Is Not
- Not a brand-strategy or agency-management role — you're doing the work, not briefing someone else to do it
- Not a content-writing-only role — writing is part of it, but the core mandate is performance and growth
- Not a role with an established playbook to follow — a meaningful part of the job is building the systems (tracking, reporting, retargeting logic) that don't exist yet
