Role Description The Manager Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing and executing surfacing solution projects from initiation to completion. This role involves planning project timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and monitoring progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with company standards. The Manager Projects will manage procurement follow-ups, expediting deliveries, and logistics coordination to ensure materials and products reach project sites on schedule. Day-to-day activities include conducting inspections, resolving operational issues, preparing project reports, and maintaining clear communication with clients, contractors, and the sales team. The role also requires optimizing processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
- Experience as an Expeditor, with strong follow-up capabilities to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Inspection skills to oversee site activities, verify compliance with specifications, and maintain quality standards.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, warehousing, and on-site material handling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience managing interior, architectural, or construction projects, preferably in surfacing or building materials.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work on-site, handle multiple projects, and travel to project locations as required.
