Looking for Assistant Manager Projects
Job Description
Job Title: Project Assistant Manager
Department: Projects/Infrastructure Reports To: Project Manager
•Supervise general contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution of work.
•Guide site staff and supervisors to ensure work is carried out as per approved project layouts and drawings.
•Oversee site execution, prepare Purchase Orders and Work Orders, and take final measurements for completed work.
•Prepare project schedules and ensure strict adherence to timelines.
•Conduct regular follow-ups with contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
•Submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project & Infra Head.
•Maintain and manage all documentation related to interior fit-outs with landlords and building societies.
•Ensure timely circulation of drawings, approvals, and documents to contractors and site teams to avoid delays.
•Coordinate with multiple contractors to ensure smooth execution and on-time completion of projects.
•Work independently with minimal supervision and be available to work beyond standard hours when required.
•Control project costs through effective negotiation of rates and implementation of cost-optimization measures.
•Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote safe working practices at site.
Skills & Knowledge:
•Strong working knowledge of civil, plumbing, electrical, roofing, foundation, and carpentry works.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and interpreting drawings
•Minimum 2 years of experience in interior fit-out and construction project supervision
•Good communication and coordination skills
•Strong planning, organizational, and contractor management abilities.
•Good analytical and problem-solving skills to manage predictive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance requirements.
•Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple sites/projects simultaneously.
•Physically fit to perform site-related activities including walking, bending, crawling, and lifting during extended shifts.
Experience- 4 to 6 yrs experience
