Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manager – Land Acquisition role based in Velachery. The Manager will identify and evaluate potential land parcels, conduct site visits, and perform due diligence on ownership, legal clearances, and zoning regulations. Responsibilities include negotiating with landowners and intermediaries, preparing financial feasibility and risk assessments, and coordinating with legal, finance, and technical teams to structure and close transactions. The role involves maintaining a strong network of brokers and local stakeholders, tracking market trends and government policies, and preparing regular reports and documentation on land acquisition opportunities and progress.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in land sourcing, site evaluation, and market research for residential real estate.
- Proficiency in negotiation, relationship management with landowners and brokers, and stakeholder coordination.
- Knowledge of legal due diligence, property documentation, zoning laws, and regulatory approvals.
- Ability to prepare financial feasibility studies, basic cash flow analysis, and risk assessments for land deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in land acquisition or real estate development, preferably in residential projects in South India.
- Strong local market awareness, willingness to travel for site visits, and capability to work independently and meet timelines.
