Role Description The Management Information System (MIS) Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MIS solutions that support production, operations, and management decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include building and enhancing software tools, managing databases, creating reports and dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and availability for different departments. The MIS Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, automate manual processes, and optimize information flows. The role also involves troubleshooting system issues, implementing updates, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s efficiency and quality goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Management Information Systems (MIS), including designing, implementing, and maintaining business information workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, with experience in building and customizing tools or applications to support operations and reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Databases, including data modeling, querying, optimization, and ensuring data integrity.
- Candidates should possess experience with Crystal Reports for developing, customizing, and maintaining reports and dashboards.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for improving the presentation and usability of web-based MIS interfaces.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in manufacturing or textile industry systems, proficiency in SQL or similar query languages, and understanding of ERP or production management software.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational and management teams.
