Role Description The Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chitrangi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations across the facility. This role includes planning and assigning maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring timely repair and preventive maintenance activities. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and guide maintenance staff, coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime, and maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and inventory. The position also involves enforcing safety standards, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and recommending improvements to maintenance processes and asset reliability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task prioritization, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair skills to ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and facility systems.
- Candidates should possess preventive maintenance skills, including scheduling, routine inspections, and documentation of maintenance plans.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance environments, with knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and equipment schematics.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
