Role Description The Maintenance - Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Jadcherla, responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across the facility. The role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising equipment inspections, and coordinating repair activities to minimize downtime. The Maintenance - Lead will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, guide the maintenance team in troubleshooting, and ensure that all work complies with safety and quality standards. This position also includes maintaining accurate maintenance records, optimizing spare parts inventory, and collaborating with production and quality teams to support smooth plant operations. The individual will be expected to lead by example, drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices, and support training and development of maintenance personnel.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for dairy or food processing machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance planning to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance oversight and team coordination to manage daily maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues to resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar field).
- Experience in plant or facility maintenance, preferably in dairy, food processing, or FMCG environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards, GMP, and basic compliance requirements for production facilities.
- Ability to lead a maintenance team, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Comfort with using maintenance logs, CMMS or similar tools for documentation and planning.
