About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our rubber molding manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, improving reliability, implementing modern maintenance practices and driving automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance for all production machines and utilities.
• Maintain compression molding, rubber injection molding, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and utility systems.
• Reduce machine downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead TPM, root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement Industry 4.0, IoT-based machine monitoring, predictive maintenance and automation projects to improve plant efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory and environmental requirements while fostering a strong safety culture.
• Manage maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, vendors, AMC contracts, and maintenance budgets.
• Lead installation, commissioning and upgradation of new machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Develop and mentor the maintenance team to build technical capability and ownership.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably rubber, automotive, plastics or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, utilities and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in implementing Industry 4.0, IoT solutions, machine connectivity, predictive maintenance and digital maintenance systems.
• Thorough understanding of industrial safety practices, machine safety, risk assessment, statutory compliance and EHS standards.
• Excellent leadership, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
