Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Logistics Officer role based in Dhanbad. The Logistics Officer will coordinate inbound and outbound materials movement, ensuring timely delivery to customers and internal locations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, supervising warehouse operations, optimizing transportation plans, and maintaining accurate logistics documentation. The role involves close collaboration with supply chain, sales, and finance teams to align dispatch schedules, resolve delivery issues, and manage logistics costs. The Logistics Officer will also ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements within the logistics and warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Strong logistics and supply chain skills, including Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management.
- Experience with Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations to maintain stock accuracy and efficient material flow.
- Administration skills to handle documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of transportation planning, route optimization, and basic cost analysis for logistics operations.
- Proficiency in using ERP or warehouse management systems and standard office software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work on-site in Dhanbad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time-sensitive activities.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in cement or manufacturing logistics is an advantage.
