Role Description The Laboratory Sales Executive is a full-time role responsible for driving sales of specialty labels and identification solutions to research laboratories, medical facilities, clinics, and biorepositories. This role includes identifying and qualifying prospects, managing a sales pipeline, and conducting virtual product presentations and demonstrations to decision-makers in laboratory and healthcare environments. The Laboratory Sales Executive will prepare quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales while maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. Daily tasks involve collaborating with technical and customer support teams to address client needs, providing feedback to product development teams, and following up on inbound leads and online store inquiries. The role also requires monitoring market trends, participating in online events or webinars, and supporting marketing campaigns focused on laboratory and industrial labeling solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have Master's Degree in Biotechnology or any Life Sciences field (not in commerce or arts fields)
- Candidates should possess strong sales and account management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship and communication skills, such as clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand technical labeling requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including prioritizing tasks, managing multiple opportunities, and working independently in a remote setting.
- Candidates should possess basic technical aptitude, with the ability to learn and explain product features, labeling technologies, and related hardware/software tools.
- Experience selling into laboratories, healthcare, biotechnology, or industrial environments is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office productivity tools is preferred.
