Page & Pixel Labs is a Hyderabad-based previs and pre-production studio for films, OTT series, animation and games.
We’re looking for a Junior Previs Artist with at least one year of previs experience to join an upcoming action project.
You’ll work alongside senior previs artists, contribute to production shots and develop your skills through regular feedback and guidance.
What you’ll do
- Create previs shots in Autodesk Maya using supplied shot breakdowns and creative direction.
- Set up cameras, framing, camera movements, character blocking and scene layout.
- Import, adapt, retime and stitch together animation-library clips and supplied mocap animation to suit each shot.
- Animate simple character poses, movement and drama beats where needed.
- Maintain screen direction, timing and continuity across shots.
- Apply feedback, produce playblasts and keep Maya scenes organised for handoff.
What we’re looking for
- At least one year of hands-on previs experience.
- Working proficiency in Autodesk Maya, including cameras, layout, keyframe animation and the Graph Editor.
- Confidence working with rigged characters and modifying existing animation.
- An understanding of composition, staging and visual storytelling.
- Willingness to learn, take direction and communicate progress or blockers clearly.
- A previs showreel with your individual contribution identified.
- Your own computer capable of running Maya smoothly and a stable internet connection.
Experience with action sequences or animation libraries is a plus.
