Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Graphic Designer role based in Kolkata. The Junior Graphic Designer will support the design team by creating visual assets for digital campaigns, social media, websites, and other marketing materials. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with logo design, branding elements, layouts, and typography, as well as adapting designs to different formats and platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with marketers and content creators, following brand guidelines, and refining designs based on feedback. The Junior Graphic Designer will also help prepare files for production and maintain an organized library of design assets.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Design, with ability to create clear, visually appealing compositions.
- Skills in Logo Design and Branding, including developing and applying consistent visual identities.
- Understanding of Typography and layout principles, with attention to detail and readability.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent).
- Portfolio demonstrating creative work and an ability to follow design briefs and brand guidelines.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and iterative design.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
