Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Architect / Interior Designer based in Bengaluru. The role involves assisting in conceptualizing and developing architectural and interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Responsibilities include preparing drawings, 3D models, and presentations; supporting space planning, material selection, and detailing; and coordinating with senior team members to refine design solutions. The Junior Architect / Interior Designer will participate in site visits, measurements, and documentation, and help ensure that designs align with project requirements, budgets, and timelines. The role also includes collaborating with consultants and vendors, maintaining organized project documentation, and contributing to design quality and innovation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong architectural and interior design skills, including concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing presentations, 3D visualizations, and material boards to effectively communicate design intent.
- Candidates should possess abilities in site measurement, documentation, and coordination with project teams, consultants, and vendors.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of building materials, finishes, basic building codes, sustainability principles, and industry best practices.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution; registration with relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design; experience in real estate or consultancy environments is beneficial.
