Role Description The Clinical Research Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The trainer will design and deliver structured training programs in clinical research to students and early-career professionals from diverse healthcare and life sciences backgrounds. Daily responsibilities include preparing course materials, delivering classroom and practical sessions, conducting assessments, and providing feedback and mentoring to learners. The trainer will stay current with clinical research guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices, and integrate these updates into the curriculum. The role also involves collaborating with academic and industry partners, supporting trainees in career readiness, and contributing to continuous improvement of training modules.
Qualifications
- Clinical education and training skills, with the ability to design and deliver structured learning programs.
- Foundational knowledge in medicine and exposure to clinical or critical care environments, with an understanding of clinical protocols.
- Experience in clinical or academic research, including study design basics, data interpretation, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
- Relevant degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced qualifications in clinical research or education are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a trainer, educator, or mentor in healthcare or research settings preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners, and to maintain professional, inclusive learning environments.
- Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory guidelines, and current trends in clinical research is highly beneficial.
