Role Description The Inventory Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day inventory operations for IT equipment and related assets. The role includes monitoring stock levels, coordinating physical inventory counts, tracking movement of equipment, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records and documentation. The Inventory Supervisor will implement inventory control procedures, identify discrepancies, and work with internal teams to resolve issues promptly. This role also involves supervising inventory staff, assigning tasks, training team members on best practices, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. The Inventory Supervisor will collaborate with procurement, logistics, and support teams to meet deployment timelines and maintain optimal stock availability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Physical Inventory activities, such as stocktaking, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Inventory Control practices, including tracking, documentation, and compliance with procedures.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Relevant experience in inventory management within IT equipment, logistics, or warehousing environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to maintaining accurate and timely inventory records.
