Role Description The Inventory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Puthanathani. This role oversees daily inventory operations, including receiving, recording, and organizing gold and diamond products, and ensuring all stock movements are accurately documented in inventory systems. The Inventory Manager monitors stock levels, conducts regular audits, reconciles discrepancies, and implements controls to minimize loss or misplacement. The role collaborates closely with sales and purchasing teams to forecast demand, plan stock replenishments, and maintain optimal inventory levels. The Inventory Manager also supports the customer-facing team by ensuring product availability, clear labeling, and efficient stock handling to enable smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Strong inventory-focused skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for tracking stock data, identifying trends, and resolving discrepancies.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with sales, purchasing, and management teams.
- Customer Service skills to support a positive in-store experience through accurate and timely product availability.
- Experience working with inventory or point-of-sale software and basic proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and reliability when handling valuable goods.
- Previous experience in retail, jewelry, or similar product-focused environments is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in business, retail management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
