Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Hyderabad. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, functional needs, and budgets, then translate these requirements into practical and visually appealing design concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing space plans, creating detailed interior layouts, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing construction and presentation drawings. The role involves coordinating FF&E selections, working closely with contractors and vendors, and monitoring on-site execution to ensure quality, timelines, and adherence to design intent. The Interior Designer will also contribute to project documentation, cost estimates, and support NRI and remote coordination as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional and aesthetic residential layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to develop clear, buildable plans and coordinate with project execution teams.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, lighting, and décor aligned with client needs.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools for visualizing and communicating concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong client communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage expectations and maintain clear documentation.
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects on-site in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local materials, vendors, and residential construction practices in Hyderabad is an advantage.
