Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design and development of residential interior projects, ensuring that spaces reflect MTC Furniture’s commitment to comfort, style, and functionality. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad and involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements, developing design concepts, and presenting mood boards, layouts, and material palettes. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting furniture and finishes, coordinating FF&E, preparing detailed drawings, and guiding project execution with internal teams and external vendors. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee site visits, monitor quality and timelines, and ensure that completed spaces align with design intent and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically cohesive residential environments.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate design concepts into clear, buildable documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment that complement design concepts and meet project budgets.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering tools) and familiarity with industry-standard materials and finishes.
- Proven experience in leading interior design projects from concept to completion, preferably in residential or furniture-focused settings.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of progressively responsible design experience.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and vendors on-site in Hyderabad.
