Role Description The Interior Designer role at Dhiraj Living is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Interior Designer will plan and design residential and commercial interiors, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, partitions, and related spaces, ensuring functional layouts and aesthetic coherence. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts, preparing construction drawings and 3D presentations, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and coordinating with internal technical teams and external vendors. The role also involves site visits for measurements and progress reviews, aligning design intent with on-site execution. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with sales and project teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design abilities, including Interior Design, Space Planning, and FF&E selection.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and its application to interior projects.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation.
- Experience working with modular kitchens, wardrobes, and architectural hardware is preferred.
- Competence in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent visual, technical, and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in interior projects is an advantage.
