Role Description The Insurance Administrator is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting daily insurance operations and client service activities. This role includes processing and maintaining policy documentation, assisting with policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, and ensuring accurate data entry into internal systems. The Insurance Administrator will coordinate claims intake and follow-up, gather relevant documentation, and communicate with carriers, brokers, and clients to track claim status. The role also involves organizing client files, preparing reports and summaries, monitoring compliance requirements, and supporting the consulting team with policy comparisons, quote requests, and finance-related reconciliations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across teams, respond promptly to client inquiries, and help improve administrative processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Insurance and Claims Management, including policy structures, coverage types, and basic claims workflows.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills, such as understanding premiums, deductibles, invoicing, and reconciliation of billing or statements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professional client interactions, and responsive follow-up.
- Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills, including attention to detail, document management, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Relevant additional qualifications: proficiency with office and insurance administration software, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and collaborative mindset.
- Preferred background: prior experience in insurance, brokerage, consulting, or financial services, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance.
- Education: diploma or degree in insurance, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
