Company Description Mayilone Drone Academy is a specialized training institute focused on developing practical skills and knowledge in drone technology and applications. Role Description The Instructor at Mayilone Drone Academy is a full-time, on-site role based in Thanjavur. Each day, the Instructor will deliver classroom and practical training sessions on drone operation, safety regulations, and industry applications, using academy curricula and training materials. The Instructor will supervise flight practice sessions, demonstrate proper handling and maintenance of drones, and ensure that learners follow safety protocols. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing learner performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate training records. The Instructor will also help update course content, support certification processes, and collaborate with the academy team to enhance training quality and learner outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of drone technology, flight operations, and basic maintenance, with the ability to demonstrate safe and effective drone use.
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring, with clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to learners with varied backgrounds.
- Understanding of aviation or drone-related regulations and safety standards; any relevant licenses or certifications in drone piloting or aviation are an advantage.
- Ability to plan and organize lessons, manage classroom and field sessions, and evaluate learner progress using structured assessments.
- Comfort working on-site in Thanjavur, including outdoors during flight practice, and maintaining professionalism and learner-focused conduct at all times.
- Basic computer skills for using training software, preparing materials, and maintaining records; familiarity with multimedia or simulation tools is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, technology, aviation, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience in drone operations will also be considered.
