Role Description The Clinical Instructor role at BIHS is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The Clinical Instructor will provide hands-on clinical teaching, supervise learners during patient care, and demonstrate evidence-based practices across various care settings. Responsibilities include developing and delivering training sessions, bedside teaching, case discussions, and simulation-based learning for clinical staff and trainees. The role also involves supporting curriculum design, participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to research or scholarly projects that enhance clinical education. The Clinical Instructor will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care and continuous professional development within the organization.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Clinical Education and Training, including designing and delivering instructional sessions and mentoring learners.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with the ability to model and teach safe, evidence-based clinical practice.
- Candidates should possess Research skills, including basic study design, data collection, and translating findings into educational or clinical improvements.
- Relevant professional qualification in medicine (e.g., MBBS with appropriate postgraduate training or equivalent) and valid clinical licensure as required.
- Experience as a clinical tutor, instructor, or educator in hospital or academic settings, preferably within an integrated or multidisciplinary care environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse clinical teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, continuous learning, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
