Roles & Responsibilities: -
- Design, engineering, commissioning, and performance analysis of Solar PV plants and substation projects.
- Electrical system design and coordination using industry-standard software (e.g., Caneco BT, ETAP, PVSyst, PVsol, PVcase, Ratedpower).
- Selection and specification of DC/AC systems, transformers, panels, cables, and LV/MV power lines.
- Application engineering for high voltage power electronics and grid integration
- Design of hybrid power systems and microgrids using simulation tools (Homer Pro, Homer Grid, PSSE, Digsilent, Powerfactory, ETAP).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local/international regulations (UL/IEEE, IS, European grid codes).
- Oversee and participate in the installation and commissioning of large-scale projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve engineering issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Skills Required: -
- Deep understanding of solar PV plant/substation project design, engineering, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in relevant electrical design and simulation tools (Caneco BT, ETAP, PVSyst, PVsol, PVcase, Ratedpower, Homer Pro, Homer Grid, PSSE, Digsilent, Powerfactory).
- Strong knowledge of DC/AC systems, IDT transformers, panels, cables, LV & MV power lines.
- Expertise in electrical systems, high voltage power electronics, and grid integration concepts.
- Experience with hybrid energy systems and microgrid design.
- Familiarity with utility grid interconnection standards (UL/IEEE, IS, European grid codes).
- Strong grasp of safety standards and compliance in engineering design.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and installing large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills; ability to work as a team player.
Qualification: -
B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
