Nebraska | York Preferred | $100,000–$110,000 Base + Annual Incentive + Profit Sharing
Own your portfolio. Have a team behind you. Build toward what's next.
Imagine managing a sophisticated, established trust portfolio with meaningful independence, while having the resources of a highly capable Trust department behind you.
We're conducting a confidential retained search for a respected, established Nebraska financial institution offering something experienced Trust professionals don't always find: autonomy without isolation, exceptional operational support, and a genuine opportunity for future leadership growth.
Why this opportunity stands out
- Exceptional support: Join a collaborative Trust department of approximately 20 professionals, with dedicated operations, administrative and specialized resources. You can focus on your clients and fiduciary responsibilities rather than carrying every task yourself.
- Leadership runway: The hiring manager is planning for the department's future. For the right individual, this position could develop into broader Trust leadership responsibilities as succession plans evolve. Leadership aspirations are welcomed, not required.
- An established, sophisticated portfolio: Take responsibility for approximately 250–300 accounts representing $275M–$300M in assets. Relationships span personal trusts, estates, multigenerational families, agricultural assets and real estate.
- Real autonomy: Manage client and beneficiary relationships, exercise fiduciary judgment and make meaningful decisions with collaborative leadership available when needed.
- Work-life balance: A typical 40-hour workweek, a supportive culture and no expectation to build a book of business from scratch.
- Competitive rewards: $100K–$110K target base, with flexibility above that for exceptionally qualified candidates, plus annual incentive opportunities and profit sharing.
What you'll do
Manage an established portfolio of personal trusts, estates, agency accounts and other fiduciary relationships. Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, attorneys and CPAs; interpret governing documents; coordinate distributions and administration; and collaborate with internal operations and specialized colleagues to address complex situations.
You'll also help preserve and deepen longstanding client relationships while identifying organic opportunities to serve families more broadly—without an individual sales quota.
Who we're looking for
An experienced Trust Administrator, Trust Officer, Trust Advisor or fiduciary/wealth professional with approximately five or more years of substantive trust or fiduciary administration experience.
You'll bring strong relationship skills, sound fiduciary judgment, the ability to manage complex matters independently and an appreciation for a collaborative team.
A CTFA, JD or equivalent depth of relevant experience is highly valued. Candidates who can pursue appropriate trust credentials after joining may also be considered.
Location and compensation
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity, preferably in York, Nebraska, with Murray, Columbus, Shelton and Tilden also available for consideration.
Target base: $100,000–$110,000, with additional flexibility for exceptional experience, potentially up to $130,000. Annual incentive opportunities, profit sharing and a comprehensive benefits package are also offered.
