Job Duties
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, tax compliance (GST & TDS), and MIS reporting, preferably in a corporate or trading environment. Strong working knowledge of SAP and Tally ERP 9 is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Day-to-Day Accounting
- Invoice booking and daily payment posting in SAP with high accuracy
- Handle day-to-day accounting for employee and business expenses (INR & USD)
- Forex loading for travel employees as required
- Handle logistics-related invoicing and booking of transportation & freight expenses
- Maintain close coordination with vendors and resolve discrepancies proactively
Tax Compliance
- Prepare and assist in GST and TDS return filings and other statutory compliance
- Execute vendor TDS calculations and compliance tasks
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Conduct monthly General Ledger scrutiny for operating and overhead expenses
- Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Generate daily MIS reports for gross margin analysis and business decision support
- Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow statements for effective cash forecasting
- Compile monthly MIS reports of P&L statements to track financial performance and highlight key variances
- Provide daily liability status reports to management for informed decision making
Audit & Strategic Support
- Support internal and external audit processes including query resolution and closure
- Assist in strategic financial planning and real-time business insights
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in accounts payable, financial reporting, or a similar role
- Proficiency in SAP (invoice and payment posting) and Tally ERP 9
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other indirect tax compliance
- Advanced MS Excel skills (MIS reporting, spreadsheets etc)
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions (INR & USD)
- Exposure to forex loading and foreign currency expense management
- Experience working within large corporate groups or conglomerates
- Hands-on audit support and statutory compliance closure experience
- Knowledge of logistics invoicing and freight expense accounting
