Role Description The In-House CA – Finance & Inventory Lead (Art/Luxury Retail) is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi. The role involves overseeing daily finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, preparation and review of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The individual will manage inventory control for luxury art and silver pieces, monitor stock movements, reconcile inventory records with financial data, and implement processes to minimize discrepancies and losses. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing sales and cost data, preparing management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, coordinating with auditors, and advising on pricing, margins, and financial performance. The role also requires close collaboration with the gallery team to support purchasing decisions, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate financial and inventory insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, including experience with general ledger management and financial controls.
- Candidates should possess the ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements for management decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review sales, costs, inventory data, and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and auditors.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in retail, luxury, or inventory-intensive environments.
- Proficiency in accounting and inventory management software, with strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and ability to work on-site in South Delhi.
- Experience in process improvement, internal controls, and compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
