About the job
We are looking for an experienced and highly proactive Import and Product Sourcing Specialist who can independently handle end-to-end sourcing and importing operations for our growing e-commerce/Amazon business. This is primarily an Individual Contributor (IC) role, where the candidate will independently manage sourcing operations and vendor coordination.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in:
✔ Product hunting & market research
✔ China & India supplier sourcing
✔ Vendor negotiation & verification
✔ Import logistics & customs clearance
✔ Certifications & compliance management
✔ International payment channel knowledge
✔ End-to-end coordination till warehouse/FBA delivery
The candidate must have hands-on experience dealing in finished goods/products only.

Note: We are NOT focusing on heavy-weight products, regular apparel, or food/FMCG categories.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Identify profitable and trending products suitable for Amazon/e-commerce selling
🔹 Source reliable manufacturers and suppliers from China & India through platforms like Alibaba, supplier networks, trade channels, exhibitions, etc.
🔹 Conduct supplier/vendor verification and build reliable vendor partnerships
🔹 Negotiate pricing, MOQs, customization, packaging, and payment terms
🔹 Handle complete end-to-end importing operations including sampling, production coordination, freight handling, customs clearance, and final delivery to warehouse/FBA
🔹 Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, CHA partners, and logistics providers
🔹 Manage import/export documentation and compliance requirements
🔹 Strong understanding of certifications and licenses required for different product categories such as BIS, IEC, labeling requirements, product compliance, etc.
🔹 Knowledge of international vendor payment processes, banking procedures, and payment channels for China transactions
🔹 Calculate landed costing, margins, duties, and overall profitability
🔹 Ensure quality control, shipment tracking, and timely execution
Requirements:
✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing/import operations for Amazon, D2C, or e-commerce businesses
✔ Strong knowledge of China sourcing ecosystem and sourcing platforms like Alibaba
✔ Hands-on experience in customs clearance and import procedures
✔ Strong understanding of international logistics and shipping coordination
✔ Knowledge of certifications, compliance requirements, and licensing for multiple product categories
✔ Experience in vendor verification and supplier due diligence
✔ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
✔ Ability to independently execute sourcing and importing projects end-to-end
✔ Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Salary Range💰 ₹3.6 LPA – ₹6.6 LPA (Depending on experience and expertise)
