Role Description The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting a growing maritime consulting team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and includes responsibilities such as administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and managing employee benefits and payroll-related data in collaboration with finance. The specialist will handle employee queries, support performance management processes, assist in organizing training and development initiatives, and help ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company standards. The role also involves supporting employee engagement activities, contributing to HR process improvements, and partnering with management to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, including experience with core HR operations and HR systems.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, with the ability to interpret and implement policies consistently and fairly.
- Candidates should possess Personnel Management skills, including employee relations, performance support, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in a corporate or consulting environment is preferred.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Indian labor laws, proficiency in MS Office or comparable tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
