Role Description The Human Resources Payroll Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role oversees end-to-end payroll operations, including salary processing, statutory compliance, deductions, reimbursements, and periodic audits to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The manager maintains and updates HR and payroll systems, coordinates with finance and operations teams, and prepares regular reports for leadership. On a day-to-day basis, this role handles employee queries related to compensation and benefits, supports onboarding and offboarding processes, and helps implement HR policies that align with local regulations and company standards. The Human Resources Payroll Manager also contributes to employee engagement initiatives, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement across HR and payroll functions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience overseeing core HR processes and payroll administration.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Employee Benefits and Employee Relations to manage compensation programs and foster a positive, compliant work environment.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of HR Policies, including drafting, implementing, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with HRIS/payroll software, Excel or similar tools, and strong analytical abilities for data validation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in payroll and HR roles within the education or services sector is preferred.
