About the Role
Yellow Frames LLP is looking for an experienced HR Head to lead and strengthen our people function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a high-performance culture by driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.
This role requires someone who can think strategically while being hands-on with day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced creative agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and strengthen HR policies, processes, and SOPs.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational growth.
- Lead the HR team and ensure smooth functioning across all HR activities.
2. Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across all departments.
- Develop hiring strategies to attract top talent.
- Build strong employer branding initiatives.
- Manage recruitment budgets and vendor relationships.
- Improve hiring turnaround time and candidate experience.
3. Performance Management
- Design and drive the performance management framework.
- Conduct probation reviews, appraisals, promotions, and salary revisions.
- Drive Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where required.
- Work closely with department heads on employee development.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Create initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Organize employee events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Build a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution professionally.
5. HR Operations
- Oversee onboarding and exit formalities.
- Ensure smooth payroll coordination with Finance.
- Manage attendance, leave, and HRMS processes.
- Supervise Full & Final settlements.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
6. Policy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws.
- Update HR policies in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Handle disciplinary matters and domestic inquiries when required.
- Ensure statutory compliance and documentation.
7. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Develop employee learning and leadership programs.
- Conduct induction and orientation sessions.
- Build career progression frameworks.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Track recruitment, retention, attrition, absenteeism, and engagement metrics.
- Present HR dashboards and reports to leadership.
- Recommend improvements based on HR data and business requirements.
Required Skills
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong recruitment and talent acquisition expertise.
- Deep understanding of labour laws and HR compliance.
- Experience in payroll coordination and HR operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- High emotional intelligence and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Proficiency in HRMS, MS Excel, Google Workspace, and HR reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Certifications in Labour Laws, HR Analytics, or Learning & Development will be an added advantage.
Experience
7-9 Years in Human Resources, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
