Role Description The HR Recruiter Intern role at Steps N Storeyz is an on-site internship based in Chennai. The intern will support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate databases. Daily responsibilities may include coordinating with hiring managers to understand role requirements, posting job openings on various platforms, and assisting in campus or walk-in recruitment activities. The intern will help with basic HR documentation, follow up with candidates, and contribute to improving recruitment workflows and candidate experience. This internship provides hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment and general HR practices.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in Human Resources and talent acquisition, with willingness to learn recruitment processes and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort using online job portals or social media for sourcing.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
