Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Host/Hostess role based in Gurugram. The Host/Hostess welcomes guests, manages waiting lists, and guides customers to their tables while maintaining a warm, professional atmosphere. Responsibilities include introducing the menu and coffee concept, coordinating with the barista and service teams to ensure smooth guest flow, and answering basic questions about the brand and offerings. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area, handling reservations and inquiries, and supporting guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous service. The Host/Hostess may also assist with queue management during peak hours and support small in-store events or tastings.
Qualifications
- Customer service and hospitality skills, with a friendly and professional approach to welcoming and engaging guests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and clearly inform guests about menus and experiences.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills to handle reservations, waiting lists, and guest flow during busy periods.
- Interest in coffee and willingness to learn about specialty coffee, origin stories, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram in a full-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak hours as needed.
- Previous experience in cafes, restaurants, or retail hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive attitude aligned with Libertario’s focus on quality and sustainability.
