Role Description The Interior Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day interior project execution at client locations. This role includes coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring work progress, ensuring quality standards, and verifying that work aligns with approved designs and specifications. The Interior Site Supervisor will manage site schedules, track materials and resources, and report project status to the design and management teams. The role involves resolving on-site issues, enforcing safety practices, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders. The supervisor is expected to ensure timely completion of milestones, support workforce management on site, and uphold the company’s service and quality commitments.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) fundamentals and experience supporting HR-related activities at project sites.
- HR Management and HR Policies skills to help implement company guidelines and maintain compliance on site.
- Employee Relations and Performance Management skills to coordinate site teams, address concerns, and support fair evaluation of staff performance.
- Experience in interior fit-out or construction supervision, with strong understanding of materials, finishes, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings, and ensure accurate execution on site.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to interact with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of digital tools (email, spreadsheets, site management apps).
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; prior on-site supervisory experience is highly preferred.
