Role Description This is a full-time, on-site High School English Teacher role based in Bengaluru. The English Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, literature, and critical thinking. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will create an inclusive classroom environment, manage student behavior positively, and support learners with diverse needs and learning styles. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues and parents, participating in school events, and contributing to extracurricular and enrichment activities that support the school’s educational philosophy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Lesson Planning and Teaching skills to design and implement effective, student-centered instruction.
- Candidates should possess English Teaching expertise, including subject knowledge in literature, language, and composition.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is preferred.
- Experience teaching high school learners and managing a classroom in a school setting is highly beneficial.
- Ability to foster an inclusive, respectful, and motivating learning environment for students with varied backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
