Role Description The Head of Human Resources is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the HR function and supporting the company’s strategic growth. This role oversees HR operations, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. The Head of Human Resources designs, implements, and updates HR policies, processes, and frameworks that align with legal requirements and company culture. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, handling grievance and disciplinary procedures, and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment. The role also involves advising leadership on labor and employment law, conducting compliance audits, driving learning and development initiatives, and supporting organizational change and engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience leading HR teams and functions.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including practical experience interpreting and applying legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to design, implement, and refine HR Policies that support organizational goals and comply with relevant legislation.
- Proven expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in fast-paced, consumer or beauty/FMCG-focused organizations is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Demonstrated capability in change management, talent development, and building high-performing teams.
