Role Description The Human Resources Generalist at One Health Assist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including implementing HR policies, managing employee records, and maintaining compliance with local labor regulations. The HR Generalist will administer employee benefits, coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, and assist with performance management activities. Daily tasks include responding to employee queries, supporting payroll inputs, organizing training sessions, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives. The role works closely with leadership and team managers to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with the company’s mission in preventive healthcare.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in generalist HR functions.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and local employment laws, with the ability to implement and communicate policies clearly.
- Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, documentation, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on fairness and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS or HR software and common office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, documents).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or technology-driven organization is beneficial but not required.
