Job details:
SARHA the eternal weave
We're hiring
We're looking for someone to help us grow.
Growth Lead | Reports to Founder | Sarha (sarha.in)
Experience: 3 to 4 years, fashion / apparel D2C | Mumbai, on-site
Who are we?
Sarha makes ready to wear outfits, from sarees to kurtas for people who actually wear them. Not the once-a-year, wrapped-in-plastic kind of the Banarasi sarees you save for your cousin's wedding and the muslin you throw on for a Tuesday meeting. Silk, cotton, georgette, linen, Paithani weaves. Our apparel has heritage weaves, we make work wear for the Sarha woman.
We've built the product. Now we need someone to build the engine that gets it in front of more people, more efficiently, month after month. That's where you come in.
Who are we looking for?
For the one who will own how Sarha grows. Revenue, acquisition, retention, margins. The numbers that decide whether we're another SME brand or a serious one. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founder on strategy and run the day-to-day. This is a builder's role.
What you will actually own
– The numbers. Top-line revenue and the levers under it, across D2C and marketplaces: traffic, conversion, AOV, repeat rate, CAC, contribution margin. You'll know these cold and move them on purpose.
– The D2C storefront. Shopify is your home base. Be it merchandising, collections, product pages, offers, checkout, the apps that plug into it, you have to identify the leak and rank a win.
– The marketplaces. Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon: GSA and pricing strategy, listing performance and ranking, PLA and ad spend. This is not future expansion, it's live and it's yours from day one.
You work in sync with Ecom Operations. They execute the backend: catalog uploads, GSA repricing, inventory, order and returns processing. You own the strategy, the pricing calls, and the numbers behind them.
– Marketing, end to end. Performance (Meta, Google) and organic working together. You won't necessarily run every ad yourself, but you'll own the strategy, the budget, and the ROAS. You'll oversee the Social Media Executive by setting direction and making sure content and paid complement each other.
– Retention and lifecycle. Email, WhatsApp, repeat purchase behaviour, cohorts. Turning one-time buyers into Sarha regulars is core to this role, not an add-on.
– Vendors and supply. Suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, photographers, logistics, agencies. You'll build and hold these relationships by negotiating terms, managing timelines, and keeping quality and cost in balance.
– Expansion. New categories, new marketplaces we're not yet on, geographic or channel expansion. You'll help the founder decide where Sarha goes next and then actually take it there.
You'll fit right in if…
– You have 3 to 4 years in growth, ecommerce, or marketing, specifically in fashion or apparel. You understand how clothes sell, how sizing and returns behave, how seasonality and festivals move demand.
– You have taken a brand onto marketplaces such as Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon.
– You are genuinely interested and understand numbers. Unit economics, cohorts, a P&L, a marketing funnel: you can read them, question them, and act on them.
– You know Shopify well, and the ecosystem around it (analytics, email/SMS, reviews, returns, marketing tools).
– You've run or closely managed performance marketing and can talk about ROAS and CAC without a script.
– You've managed vendors or agencies and know how to make a team work.
– You can lead one person well today and a small team tomorrow by setting direction, giving constructive feedback, and taking ownership.
– You care about the product. You have a point of view on fashion, on what a customer wants, on what makes someone buy.
Nice to have
– You've been early at a small brand before and know how to operate without a big team behind you.
What are we offering?
– A direct line to the founder and a real seat at the strategy table. This is a partnership, not a task list.
– Full ownership of growth, across D2C and marketplaces. You decide, and you see the impact in the numbers within weeks.
– A brand with strong product and clear headroom.
– A chance to build a team as the brand scales.

– A short note (a few lines is fine) on a brand you helped grow. Tell us what you owned, and what the numbers did.
– Spend ten minutes on sarha.in and our Myntra or Nykaa listings, and tell us the first growth lever you'd pull if you joined tomorrow, and why.
