Role Description The Global CATI Operations Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing end-to-end Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) operations for multiple markets and studies. This role manages daily CATI project execution, including resource planning, interviewer scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure timely, high-quality data collection. The individual will define and implement global CATI processes, standard operating procedures, and quality controls, and will collaborate closely with project managers, survey programmers, and data teams to align operations with study requirements. The Global CATI Operations Lead will track productivity and key performance indicators, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, respondent experience, and data reliability. The role also includes training, mentoring, and supervising CATI teams, coordinating with international stakeholders, and supporting cost optimization and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong CATI operations skills, including experience in managing call centers or telephone interviewing teams, workflow planning, and performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess project management and coordination skills, such as planning and prioritization, stakeholder communication, and delivery against timelines and budgets.
- Candidates should possess market research skills, including familiarity with quantitative data collection, survey methodologies, sampling, and quality assurance in research operations.
- Candidates should possess people leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, training, and the ability to manage diverse interviewer and supervisor teams.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English and the ability to collaborate with global clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess technical aptitude, with comfort using CATI platforms, dialer systems, call monitoring tools, and basic productivity software (e.g., Excel, CRM or ticketing tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, social sciences, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in market research operations
