Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a German Teacher based in Kochi. The German Teacher will plan and deliver structured German language lessons tailored to nursing professionals preparing to work in Germany. Daily tasks include creating lesson plans, teaching in group and one-on-one settings, monitoring learner progress, and providing regular feedback to help learners achieve required language levels and professional communication skills. The role involves preparing learners for language exams, collaborating with training and integration teams, and updating teaching materials to align with current requirements. The German Teacher will also support cultural orientation related to living and working in Germany and maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in German Teaching and Tutoring focused on adult learners and professional language needs.
- Demonstrated experience in Teaching and Education, including lesson planning and classroom management.
- Background in Training, preferably in language training or vocational preparation programs.
- Excellent command of German (preferably at native or near-native level) and good English communication skills.
- Relevant degree or certification in German language, education, linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience with exam preparation (e.g., B1/B2 level or equivalent) and familiarity with European language frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with international partners and support learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
