About the role
We are hiring hands-on Full Stack Software Engineers to build production-grade products and platforms across PMB (Powers My Biz) and Pupiltree.ai projects. This is an execution-focused individual contributor role for engineers who enjoy taking ownership, shipping meaningful outcomes, and improving systems until they are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
Work arrangement
This role may be remote or on-site depending on the project. When on-site work is required, the location will be Ballari (Bellary), Karnataka.
What you will do
- Build and ship full-stack product features across frontend, backend, APIs, data systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop systems that combine LLM-powered workflows with deterministic business logic, validations, controls, and standard software components.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools effectively while reviewing, testing, fixing, and hardening the resulting code.
- Improve legacy, generated, and newly built modules through thoughtful refactoring and productionization.
- Diagnose issues involving correctness, edge cases, reliability, performance, observability, scalability, and developer usability.
- Convert one-off solutions into reusable, configurable services and platform components.
- Improve predictability, control, cost efficiency, and reliability in LLM-backed systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Help PMB and Pupiltree.ai move from custom execution toward repeatable products and scalable platforms.
What we are looking for
- 3-7 years of experience building and shipping production-grade web applications or software products.
- Strong full-stack capability across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
- Proven ability to independently build, debug, optimize, and improve production or near-production systems.
- Experience using LLMs, AI coding assistants, and modern developer tooling in day-to-day engineering work.
- Strong understanding of production readiness: testing, security, observability, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and code quality.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and clear communication in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
Technical skills
You should be strong across most of the following:
- React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
- Node.js, Python, or comparable backend stacks.
- REST APIs, GraphQL, service integrations, and asynchronous workflows.
- SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, queues, and job workers.
- AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- CI/CD, automated testing, logging, monitoring, and observability.
- LLM APIs, prompt workflows, structured outputs, orchestration, evaluation, routing, and fallback handling.
Preferred experience
- Products combining LLM workflows with conventional software systems.
- Structured outputs, retries, monitoring, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms for AI systems.
- High-volume, performance-sensitive, or large-scale applications.
- Startup, founder-led, or high-ownership teams.
- Reusable internal tools, platforms, frameworks, or cross-domain product modules.
